29 CFR 1910.134(c)(2)(i): Respirator users were not provided with the information contained in Appendix D to 29 CFR 1910.134 when the employer determined that any voluntary respirator use was permissible: On or about 4 April 2019 and at times prior thereto, employees were provided with filtering facepieces (dust masks) to use on a voluntary basis. None of these employees had been provided the basic advisory information on respirators as presented in Appendix D of 29 CFR 1910.134. This condition exposes employees to the hazards of aggravation of a pulmonary disorder, dermatitis, transmission of disease, or ingestion of a hazardous chemical.
