29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe condition(s) and the regulation(s) applicable to his work environment to control or eliminate any hazard(s) or other exposure to illness or injury: (a) New townhome construction located on Lots #47-53, Front side of structure: On or about 03/26/2019, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards, struck-by hazards, and amputation hazards, in that employees engaged in siding activities were not provided or using a fall protection system, not using ladders which extended at least 3-feet and secured, not operating circular saws with the lower guards in place, and not providing or using personal protective equipment to include head protection and protective eyewear while operating pneumatic tools and circular saws.
