29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv): Flexible cords and/ or cables were used for purposes prohibited by paragraphs (A) through (F) of 29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv):  a) East wall of the Break Room: A 120 volt extension cord was found to be plugged into a receptacle outlet in the building. The cord was placed through a 2-inch in diameter hole cut into the wall (constructed of drywall) where it provided a power source to the Evidence Room located directly on the other side of the wall.  b) East wall of the Break Room: A 120 volt extension cord running from a receptacle outlet  to the other side of the wall to the Evidence Room was used to provide power in lieu of fixed wiring.  ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED.
