29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets: At the 31 Huntleigh Woods residential construction site, an employee was working on the ground without a hard hat, below other carpenters on trusses overhead using tools, resulting in a head injury hazard. Abatement documentation is required for this violation.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): At the 31 Huntleigh Woods residential construction site, carpenters were working in/on roof trusses, including working on the fascia boards at the perimeter of the building, without fall protection. When at the perimeter, employees were exposed to a 16 ft. fall to the ground, but were also exposed to a fall towards the inside of the building. JC Bax Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 1345902 Citation 1, Item 1b, issued on 11/07/2018, and became Final Order on 11/16/2018.
