29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(6)(i): Except as provided in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(7) and 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(8), the employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged or marked with the information required by 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(1)(i) through 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(1)(v).    a) On or about April 4, 2019, in the HEM saw area of the South building, the employer did not ensure that containers storing hazardous chemicals such as but not limited to Chemkut 8100-1 which is used as a coolant in the HEM saws were labeled or marked with signal words, hazard statements, pictograms, precautionary statements and name, address, and telephone number of the chemical manufacturer in that a metal caged plastic storage container was only labeled with the product name.    b) On or about April 4, 2019, in the spray area of the North building, the employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals such as but not limited to xylene which is used as a paint thinner to clean spraying equipment were labeled or marked with signal words, hazard statements, pictograms, precautionary statements and name, address, and telephone number of the chemical manufacturer in that 2 metal containers partially filled with xylene with spray gun soaking in them were labeled as shopcoat primer.    c) On or about May 9, 2019, in the spray area of the North building, the employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals such as but not limited to Q-shield 670 which is used as a rust inhibitor were labeled or marked with signal words, hazard statements, pictograms, precautionary statements and name, address, and telephone number of the chemical manufacturer in that a plastic spray container partially filled with Q-shield 670 did not have any labeling or markings.       All Steel Products, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of an equivalent Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(5)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1012612, citation number 1, item numbers 13a and 13b and were affirmed as a final order on June 1, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 1201 Janette Dr. Vandalia, IL 62471.
