"Employee information and training." a) 240 Ryan St, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 - Mechanic Department Employees working as mechanics performing maintenance operations on Etnyre Black-Topper Centennial Asphalt Distributor trucks are required to test the operation of the asphalt/bitumen heating coils (Flues) inside the vehicle's holding tank. The employer did not ensure that there was sufficient bitumen residue inside the tank to adequately cover the heating coils during this operation to prevent the ignition of flammable vapors that accumulate inside the tank. Condition observed on or about 04/10/2019
