29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: (a) 290 Ridge Road Spring Mills PA - An employee was observed performing roofing work activity on an 6 in 12 pitch residential porch roof without the benefit of a fall protection system, thereby exposing the employee to a fall from the main roof of approximately 8 feet 6 inches to the ground below, on or about April 10, 2019. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: (a) 290 Ridge Road Spring Mills PA - The employer did not provide training to employee(s) which would have allowed employees to recognize the hazards of falling and the equipment and procedures to use to minimize those hazards, thereby exposing employees to possible injuries, on or about April 10, 2019. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
