29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system:   (a) On or about April 2, 2019, the employer did not ensure that its employees were protected from falls while working at heights greater than 6 feet. Employees of Pedro Cruz Mendez were exposed to fall hazards of up to 13 feet while engaged in re-roofing activities on a residential building with no fall protection in place.    Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards:  (a) On or about April 2, 2019, and at times prior, the employer did not provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. An employee of Pedro Cruz Mendez was exposed to fall hazards of up to 13 feet while engaged in re-roofing activities on a residential building. The employee had not been trained on fall hazards.
