OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees when employees were exposed to amputation hazards. a) On 01/04/19, in the milking parlor at Broughton Farms, located at 5622 Broughton Road, in Silver Springs, New York, employees were exposed to amputation hazards when a safety retainer pin was removed prior the pressure release in the milk fill lines during the tank fill process. Employer did not follow the manufacturers instructions related to the disconnection of the milk fill lines to the milk tanker. ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED
