29 CFR 1915.34(c)(3)(iv): The blaster was not protected against injury from exposure to the blast by appropriate protective clothing, including gloves:   a)    Newport News Shipbuilding: On or about 04/09/2019, an employee abrasive blasted a metal platform and was not provided with coveralls, as a result was exposed to a possible hazard.     Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date.  The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
