OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees when employees were exposed to fall hazards greater than 4 feet to a lower level a) On or about 04/09/19 in the storage room, above the shop area; employees were exposed to a fall of 10 feet from an unprotected opening used to discard unused/unwanted equipment. The employer did not furnish fall protection for employees exposed to the unprotected opening such as but not limited to a guardrail (to include a top rail, mid rail and toe board) or personal fall arrest system. ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED
