The employees are permitted to use inadequate gloves for handling hazardous chemicals. On 04/18/2019 employees used examination gloves to handle hazardous chemicals such as, but not limited to, formaldehyde. The employer did not ensure that the employees used chemical resistant gloves.

The employer permits the employees to work with formaldehyde without providing the employees the required information through inclusion in the hazard communication program. On 04/18/2019 employees worked with formaldehyde without information about formaldehyde as part of the hazard communication program and were not trained in accordance with the requirements of Hazard Communication regulation 29 CFR 1910.1200 and paragraphs (m) and (n) of 29 CFR 1910.1048.
