29 CFR 1910.243(b)(2): Airhose and hose connections used for conducting compressed air to utilization equipment was not designed for the pressure and service to which they were subjected. For the employees working around compressed air hoses on or about April 18, 2019 and times prior there to the employer installed water clamps on compressed air hoses with a plant pressure of approximately 70 psig. This exposes employees to the hazard of uncontrolled release of compressed air and whipping compressed air hoses.
