29 CFR 1910.219(c)(4)(i): Projecting shaft ends shall present a smooth edge and end and shall not project more than one-half the diameter of the shaft unless guarded by nonrotating caps or safety sleeves. On or about April 17, 2019, at Terminal 4, G Baggage area, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (100 Terminal Dr., Fort Lauderdale, FL 33315), employees were exposed to caught by hazards due to the projecting shaft ends of the baggage belt rollers which were not properly guarded as required.
