IN THE ALTERNATIVE    29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:    On or about April 23, 2019, at the worksite located at 1101 Denton Road, Pacific, Missouri, employee(s) were required to open the blanket guard of the Koenig & Bauer AG, Rapida 162 Offset Printing Presses at workstations 7200, 7202, 7206 and 7208 to routinely perform manual blanket washing procedures, and expose their hands to moving machinery.
