29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:  a) Cottage D at Cranwell Resort 55 Lee Rd., Lenox, MA: On or about April 24, 2019, the employer had not provided a training program to employees who might be exposed to fall hazards that enabled them to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize those hazards.  Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29CFR1903.19(d)(1).

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system.    a) Cottage D at Cranwell Resort 55 Lee Rd., Lenox, MA: On or about April 24, 2019, 2 employees were observed working on the roof of the front porch of this residence, more than 10 feet above the ground below without any fall protection.    CMV Construction Services, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.501 B 13 , which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1232733, citation number 2, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 8/29/17, with respect to a workplace located at 74 Running Hill Rd., Portland, ME.
