OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees. a) Intersection of 33rd and Prospect Street NW DC - On or about 4/23/2019, employees were exposed to a caught between or struck by hazard when an asphalt roller operator was permitted to operate the machine without the proper license or documented training. No abatement certification or documentation required for this item.

In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet).
