29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with paragraph (b) or (c) of this section except when: a) Jobsite: The employer did not ensure that a protective system was installed inside an excavation that was approximately 11 feet deep thus exposing the employees to cave-in hazards. Condition was observed on or about 24 APR 2019.
