29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there is a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, shall be protected by protective helmets. On or about April 26, 2019, and at tomes prior thereto; at a residential construction site, employees performing framing work were not provided a protective helmet while working underneath employees framing above at higher levels. The employees were exposed to being struck by objects and/or tools falling from a height greater than (8 to 16) feet.
