29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: Location: 255 John L. Dietsch Blvd N. Attleboro, MA Instance 1: Employees were exposed to crushing hazards where the rotating Inductiontherm furnaces produce pinch points between furnaces and the elevated platform. Instance 2: Employees were exposed to the rotating parts on the Bead Blender / Cone Dryer where employees gain access to the machine from the stairway platform.
