29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems. a) 22920 S.R. 54 - an employee in the process of installing metal siding was exposed to a 15 foot fall, in that, the employee climbed over the parapet wall and lowered himself to the top of a concrete block wall, fastened the metal siding and then pulled himself back up and over the parapet wall. No fall protection equipment was installed or utilized, observed on or about 4/27/2019.
