29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems.  a) 22920 S.R. 54 - an employee in the process of installing metal siding was exposed to a 15 foot fall, in that, the employee climbed over the parapet wall and lowered himself to the top of a concrete block wall, fastened the metal siding and then pulled himself back up and over the parapet wall. No fall protection equipment was installed or utilized, observed on or about 4/27/2019.

29 CFR 1926.1060(a): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee using ladders and stairways, as necessary, which would enable each employee to recognize hazards related to ladders and stairways and train each employee in the procedures to be followed to minimize these hazards.   a) 22920 S.R. 54 - employees in the process of installing metal siding while working from "A" frame ladders were not trained by the employer. Observed on or about 4/27/2019.
