29 CFR 1910.134(f)(1): The employer did not ensure that employee(s) required to use a tight-fitting facepiece respirator passed the appropriate qualitative fit test (QLFT) or quantitative fit test (QNFT).     On or about April 23, 2019: A new employee working as a painter for three months at the site located at 1581 Fullenwider Road in Gainesville and who is required to wear a 3M Full-Face Respirator during spray paint operations did not have a fit test conducted on him prior to using the respirator.  Blue Sky Refurbishing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.134(f)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1306373, citation number 1, item number 4c and was affirmed as a final order on October 30, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 1581 Fullenwider Road in Gainesville, Georgia.

29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met:      On or about April 23, 2019:  Employees working in the production area of the facility are exposed to chemicals such as but not limited to urethane paints, enamels, LV650 Reducer Extra Slow, Permite, PC-4015 Lacquer Thinner, paint hardeners, acetylene, oxygen and hydraulic fluids.  The  employer did not develop a detailed site specific hazard communication program.      Blue Sky Refurbishing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.1200(e)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1306373, citation number 1, item number 7 and was affirmed as a final order on October 30, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 1581 Fullenwider Road in Gainesville, Georgia.

On or about April 23, 2019: Employees working in Bay 4 are exposed to fire hazards where they work with combustibles and flammable chemicals at least twice a month.  The employer did not ensure that "No Smoking" signs are posted in and around Bay 4.
