Within twenty-four (24) hours after the in-patient hospitalization of one or more employees or an employee's amputation or an employee's loss of an eye, as a result of a work-related incident, you must report the in-patient hospitalization, amputation, or loss of an eye to OSHA. a. On or about 04/22/19 at Lake Thomas Rd. in Lake Wales, Florida, an employee suffered a work-related injury and was hospitalized on 04/23/19. The employer was aware of the in-patient hospitalization on 04/23/19. The employer notified OSHA on 04/26/19 at 10:30 AM of the in-patient hospitalization.
