29 CFR 1926.404(b)(1): The employer did not use either ground fault circuit interrupters as specified in paragraph (b)(1)(ii) of this section or an assured equipment grounding conductor program as specified in paragraph (b)(1)(iii) of this section to protect employees on construction sites. These requirements are in addition to any other requirements for equipment grounding conductors: a) 1422 Callowhill Street, Philadelphia, PA - Basement and 5th floor: The employer did not ensure that ground fault circuit interrupters (GFCIs) were utilized, or that an assured grounding program was implemented while employees were utilizing temporary electrical circuits with power tools while installing flooring; thus exposing employees to shock and fire hazards in the event of a ground fault occurring. Condition was observed on or about 3 MAY 2019.
