29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: (a) The emergency shower and portable eyewash station for the cut and etch department were located in the cutting room, where an employee working with the hydrochloric and hydroferric acid mixture would have to go through the closed door between the acid room and the cutting room to reach the shower and/or eyewash if they had an emergency acid spill and needed to wash the corrosive chemicals off of themselves. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification. This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence, or written records.

29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1)(i): The written hazard communication program did not include a list of the hazardous chemicals known to be present, using an identity that was referenced on the appropriate material safety data sheet: (a) The employer did not include chemicals, such as but not limited to Sulfuric Acid 66 DEG (causes severe burns) or CAL CHLOR 585 (corrosive, toxic), in the list of hazardous chemicals known to be present in the facility.
