29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE): On or about 05/07/2019, Peak Resorts dba Hidden Valley Golf & Ski Inc., located at 17409 Hidden Valley Drive, Wildwood, MO, had not performed a Hazard Assessment of their facility. There were hazards associated with the various ski lifts, equipment and products. An injury was sustained to an employee while disconnecting a coupler on the Gateway ski lift system.

29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): Employer had not developed or implemented a written hazard communication program included the requirements outlined in 29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1)(i) and (e)(1)(ii): On or about 05/07/2019, Peak Resorts dba Hidden Valley Golf & Ski Inc., located at 17409 Hidden Valley Drive, Wildwood, MO, had not established a Hazard Communication Program complete with all the required corresponding Safety Data Sheets (SDS). The employer did have Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for various products/materials. The employer had not converted to Safety Data Sheets. There were such products as: 1) ZEPRESERVE; 2) Equilon 26412 Ursa Super Plus Motor Oil; and 3) Tristar Industries E-6000 Clear product.
