The employer did not comply with the requirement of American National Standards Institute, 01.1-1961, Safety Code for Woodworking Machinery paragraph 7, Operating Rules subparagraph 7.2.6.  Specifically, that combs (featherboards) or suitable jigs were not provided at the workplace for use when a standard guard cannot be used, as in dadoing, grooving, jointing, moulding, and rabbeting.
