29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: Apartment Complex: On or about May 14, 2019, employees were observed working on a residential apartment complex roof without utilizing a fall protection system. This condition exposed employees to fall hazards greater than 6-feet to the ground below. J.J.R Contractors was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard or its equivalent standard 1926501b10, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1271240, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on January 5, 2018 with respect to a workplace located at 9895 Alameda Socorro, TX.

Construction site: On or about May 14, 2019, the employer did not ensure that employees working on a two story apartment complex roof retained the requisite understanding or skill for safe work practice. This condition exposed employees to fall hazards greater than 6-feet to the ground below.
