29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) Meridian Fire Station multi-pitched 4:12 and 5:12 pitched roof: On or about May 9, 2019 and at times prior thereto; workers were exposed to falls from 8-15 feet onto ground while staging roofing materials and tools, and did not have a fall protection system in place. *Note Abatement certification IS required.
