29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation.    (a) On or about May 13, 2019, and at times prior, employees were exposed to eye and skin hazards where the employer did not require or provide eye and hand protection to employees using a masonry saw and working with and around corrosives and carcinogens.    Abatement Note:  Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").

29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met:  (a)  On or about April 12, 2016, and times prior, the employer had not developed and/or implemented a written hazard communication program to address the chemicals used in the workplace and the hazards associated with those chemicals.   A written hazard communication program shall include the following elements, as applicable:  1. An inventory of all hazardous chemicals used in the workplace; 2. Labeling of chemicals; 3. Maintaining of Safety Data Sheets for all chemicals, ensuring accessibility for employees; 4. Training; 5. Periodic review to address changes in the workplace.
