OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(I) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to laceration hazards from improper use of a hand power saw. Location: Inside warehouse at Fall River State Pier, 1 Water St. Fall River, Massachusetts On or about 05/22/19 an employee using a hand power saw cut a piece of one of his fingers and also his hand sustaining injuries where manufacturers instructions were not followed.
