29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation.  At a worksite located at 16 Main Street, Parkville, Missouri 64152, an employee was exposed to serious struck by hazards. The employee was engaged in framing work while utilizing various hand tools and a pneumatic nail gun without appropriate eye or face protection. The employee was exposed to flying debris that had the potential to cause eye or face injuries.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  At a worksite located at 16 Main Street, Parkville, Missouri 64152, an employee was exposed to a serious fall hazard. The employee was engaged in framing work near an unprotected side without the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. The employee was exposed to a 15 foot fall hazard to the ground below.
