29 CFR 1926.416(a)(1): Employees were permitted to work in proximity to electric power circuits and were not protected against electric shock by de-energizing and grounding the circuits or effectively guarding the circuits by insulation or other means:      a)  On May 23, 2019, employees were not protected against accidental contact with energized overhead power lines during roofing work.  The overhead power lines consisted of secondary lines having a voltage rating of 120/240 volts.      No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1):  The employer did not provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards:      a)  On or about May 23, 2019, employer did not provide training to each employee in order to recognize hazards associated with working at an elevation and to understand procedures to control or minimize those hazards.    In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
