29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that was 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level was protected from falling by one or more of the following: Guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) Storage Area around Heating Unit: On or about May 23, 2019, and at times prior, employees were exposed to fall hazards of 8 feet while utilizing the storage area near the Heating Unit to maintain the heating unit. b) Platform leading to Tool Room: On or about May 23, 2019, and at times prior, employees were exposed to fall hazards of 9 feet while entering the tool room from an elevated platform to retrieve required tools and parts.
