29 CFR 1926.1153(c)(1):  For each employee engaged in a task identified on Table 1, the employer did not fully and properly implement the engineering controls, work practices, and respiratory protection specified for the task on Table 1, and in the alternative, did not properly assesses the exposure of the employee to respirable crystalline silica in accordance with paragraph (d) of this section.    a) Brick Plaza, Rt. 70, Brick, NJ:  On or about May 16, 2019, Plaster Pro Stucco & Masonry Contractors Inc. employees were doing block work on a commercial building.  Employees were using Makita concrete saw to cut masonry block.  The saw was not equipped with engineering controls (water) conforming to Table 1 Section (xi) of this standard creating a visible cloud of dust that potentially contained respirable silica.  Additionally, the employer had not conducted a proper assessment of potential employee exposure to respirable crystalline silica.
