29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:    (a) Roof - Employees worked from the flat roof to insulate ductwork.  Where the roof had no parapet or a low parapet (below knee height), the employees used a warning line system set up in some areas directly at the roof edge and in other areas 30 to 40 inches from the roof edge for fall protection rather than guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems as required by the standard, exposing employees to the hazard of falling to the ground below, on or about May 24, 2019.    Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and shall state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
