29 CFR 1904.29(b)(1): A Log of all recordable work-related injuries and illnesses (OSHA Form 300 or equivalent), was not completed in detail as required by the regulation: Air Comfort Corporation, Broadview, IL - On or about May 23, 2019, the employer failed to record the following workplace injuries in the detail required by the regulation on the OSHA 300 Log for calendar year 2019. a. On or about May 23, 2019, a recordable injury occurred when an Apprentice Pipefitter Service Technician sustained avulsion injuries to the tips of the middle, ring and pinky fingers on the right hand when attempting to stop a moving fan belt on an air handler being serviced, resulting in 45 days of lost time. The information in Column F was not recorded in the detail required, as it did not describe the object that directly injured the employee.
