29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:    (a) ARCO Murray Design Build at 16011 Grant St. Thornton, CO 80023: On or before6/6/19 the correcting and controlling employer did not protect subcontractor employees from injury in that guard rails were not present on the east side, third floor of the building. Subcontractor employees were staging equipment and materials within six feet of the edge and were working within six feet of the edge. These conditions exposed subcontractor employees to a fall hazard of 30 feet.
