29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b): (a) On or about May 31, 2019, JR Roofing Maintenance LLC, as an exposing and controlling employer, did not ensure that its employee and the employees of JKA Roofing LLC, subcontractor, were protected from fall hazards while reroofing the motel buildings without fall protection. The eaves on the cabins were 8 feet above the ground. Eaves on the shed were 7.7 to 10.7 feet above the ground. Eaves on the proprietor's house were 17.9 feet above the ground.
