OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck by hazards and death from falling trees: Site - 70 Swan Falls Road, Fryeburg, Maine: On or about May 29, 2019, the employer failed to ensure that an employee was positioned at a distance from the tree at least 1.5 times the height of the tree while handling a tensioned pull rope and assisting with felling a 54 foot tall spruce tree.
