29 CFR 1910.141(g)(2): Employees were permitted to consume food or beverage in area(s) exposed to toxic materials:    On or about May 23, 2019, and at times prior to and thereafter, employees were allowed to consume food and beverages in area with surface contamination of mercury.      The Recycling Compliance Specialists LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.141(g)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1174820, citation number 1, item number 5 and was affirmed as a final order on January 12, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 3224 Kingsley Way, Madison WI.

29 CFR 1910.178(l)(2)(ii): The employer did not ensure that each operator had successfully completed the training consisting of a combination of formal instruction (e.g., lecture, discussion, interactive computer learning, video tape, written material), practical training (demonstrations performed by the trainer and practical exercises performed by the trainee), and evaluation of the operator's performance in the workplace.  On or about May 23, 2019, employer's powered industrial truck training did not consist of formal instruction and practical training.
