29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain a safety program which provides for frequent and regular inspections of jobsites, materials, and equipment to be made by a competent person (i.e., a person who is capable of identifying existing and predictable hazards in the surroundings or working conditions which are unsanitary, hazardous, or dangerous to employees, and who has the authority to take prompt corrective measures to eliminate them):  (a)  J Barrios Construction Inc, at 1100 Blue River Parkway, Silverthorne, CO: On and preceding 6/5/19, the employer did not initiate and maintain a safety program which provides for frequent and regular inspections of jobsites, materials, and equipment to be made by a competent person (i.e., a person who is capable of identifying existing and predictable hazards in the surroundings or working conditions which are unsanitary, hazardous, or dangerous to employees, and who has the authority to take prompt corrective measures to eliminate them).  J Barrios Construction Inc directed the work of Triple AAA Builders LLC.  Employees of Triple AAA Builders LLC were framing multi-story multi-family residential structures.  Employees of Triple AAA Builders LLC were exposed to fall hazards and flying object hazards during work operations.  J Barrios Construction Inc did not conduct frequent and regular inspections of the jobsite.  This condition exposed the employees of Triple AAA Builders LLC to approximate 22.5 foot and 10.1 foot fall hazards and eye injury hazards.
