29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  At a construction site located at 24th and Campbell, Kansas City, Missouri: An employee was exposed to fall hazards.  This was most recently documented on or about June 10, 2019 when a framer was observed installing sheet rock under the eaves on the west side of the building. The framer was exposed to a fall of greater than 9 1/2 feet without the use of fall protection.
