29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts: a) On or about June 4, 2019, the employer did not protect the operator from hazards such as the ingoing nip point created by the roll and the grinding wheel. Employees placing masking on the roll running at 65 rpm exposed getting caught in nip point on the Remco Crowning lathe number 12.
