29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation:   Worksite located at 3500 SW Hollywood Dr., Lee's Summit, Missouri- Employee was observed cutting stone with a hand held grinder and was not wearing any means of eye protection to prevent particles from entering his eyes.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:   Worksite located at 3500 Hollywood Dr., Lee's Summit, Missouri- Employee had climbed out on to a balcony area on the 2nd level and was not protected from falling by the use of any means of fall protection.
