29 CFR 1926.304(f): Section 3.1.3(c) American National Standards Institute 01.1.1961, Safety Code for Woodworking Machinery as adopted by 29 CFR 1926.304(f): In applications (a table-saw) where injury to the operator might result if motors were to restart after power failures, provision were not taken to prevent machines from automatically restarting upon restoration of power: a) On or about June 7, 2019; throughout the site; employees were operating Dewalt Table saw that was not equipped with an anti-restart switch which would prevent the accidental restart of the machinery once power is loss and re-engaged. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet).
