29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) Employee(s) were exposed to fall hazard between 10 and 16 feet from the rake edge & eave of the lower roof of single-family home at 1968 Wood Road in Scotch Plains, NJ. The employee(s) were blowing debris from gutters and roof following replace of the roof weatherproofing without any fall protection means in use. Condition(s) were noted on or about 6/14/2019. Hipp Roofing LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1104062 citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 12/23/2015, with respect to a workplace located at 4 Wellington Downs, Scotch Plains NJ.
