29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, personal fall arrest system, or other approved alternative fall protection system: (a)Sandia Construction, LTD at 1209 South Montpelier Avenue, Sioux Falls, SD, 57106: On or about and at times prior to June 13, 2019, the employer did not ensure that each employee engaged in re-roofing operations on a single-family residence was protected from injury in that, employees were installing a new roof without using a fall protection system while exposed to fall hazards. This condition exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 12 feet and greater to concrete below.
