29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:    Linen #3, carousel mounted rewind roller, 508 Boston Turnpike, Shrewsbury, MA: On or about June 12, 2019 employees were exposed to in running nip points by holding newly stapled fiberglass fabric on the rewind roller while it was actively winding up slack material and one or more methods of guarding was not provided to prevent their hands or fingers from getting caught by and drawn into such pinch points.    (a) In running nip point.  Rewind roller and in running fiberglass fabric.  (b) In running nip point.  Employees placing inspection light under actively rewinding fiberglass fabric and rotating rewind roller spindle.     Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d)(1).
