OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees such as press operators (production) were exposed to lacerations and concussions from being struck-by the punch press handle while punching runners out of molded parts: On June 10, 2019, the employer did not ensure that the handle for the manual Midmark Tool #MM60425 was not able to flow freely exposing employee to concussions and lacerations due to 23 ¾ inch handle that weighs 5 pound not having the end of the metal handle covered and due to the rotating handle striking employees in the head.
